Dr. Fakher-e-Fayaz is Professor of Anesthesia and Senior Consultant Cardiac Anesthetist at AFIC/NIHD, Rawalpindi. He serves as Vice President of the Pakistan Society of Echocardiography and is a Training Centre Faculty member for the American Heart Association BLS and ACLS courses. He has been actively involved in postgraduate training and the advancement of perioperative echocardiography and cardiac anesthesia in Pakistan. His academic and clinical interests include cardiac anesthesia, perioperative transesophageal echocardiography, and critical care education
